Some boreholes tend to have water of poor quality. This happens when the casing is not planned properly or an aquifer of poor water quality leaks into the borehole. Packers are used to alleviate this problem. Certain sections are sealed off and the poor quality water can not enter into the borehole. Although this process is a costly one, there is no comparison with the costs of a new borehole. ![]() |
