GROUND WATER PRACTITIONERS DRILLING

The choice of a driller is of the utmost importance. Choosing the wrong driller can cause endless problems which is sometimes not rectifiable in the end. The driller will firstly have to produce a budget quote based on the expected depth of the borehole.

The driller will determine the depth of casing and diameter of the well unless a groundwater specialist or consultant has been appointed.

The casing should be properly gravel packed and the top should be grouted. The driller will lay out samples of every meter of drilling for the specialist to plan the proper well development.

A verticality test should be done and a down-the-hole video run to see if the driller has completed his task.
